FANO hosts a nonprofit start-up group on the First Friday of each month.  The purpose of the 1 1/2 hour session is to discover what to know before starting a nonprofit organizations and includes all contact information for Florida registration and much more.  Also, FANO hosts a list serve for discussions on nonproift startups.  FANO offers two other resources: 1.) A library with over 400 titles hosted at the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce, 501 SE 3d Avenue and 2.) a preferred partner consultant offering discounts to FANO members for preparing forms, applications and registrations.
